Job Description

This is a great opportunity to work within our Enforcement Team in Environment Services. You will combine work-based training along with achieving a Level 3 (Advanced) Apprenticeship qualification in Business Administration. Working for one of the largest employers in the County, you will gain administrative skills as well as experience of the Environment Enforcement team. This role is a great starting place for someone interested in a career in Fly Tipping Enforcement, giving you understanding and experience of the enforcement officer role, which could lead to jobs in the field of Enforcement.

Your duties will include:
*Responding to reports by the public of unauthorised waste disposal
*Supporting the management of the team email inbox
*Attending fly-tipping sites and going through fly-tipping to find evidence
*Looking for and gathering evidence of perpetrators and helping to work on investigations
*Installing signs and cameras at reported dumping ‘Hot spots’
*Battery changing at camera sites and downloading evidence from cameras
*Report writing and updating information
*Assisting other enforcement officer with interviewing of suspects
*Inputting intelligence reports onto National Intelligence database
*Checking and amending suspect interview transcripts
*Assisting in leafleting campaign
