WANNABE Bucks is a youth work finder platform facilitated by the Bucks Skills Hub and managed by Buckinghamshire Business First (BBF). The Bucks Skills Hub is part of the Buckinghamshire Thames Valley Local Enterprise Partnership (BTVLEP).

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. Our Privacy Policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and tell you about your rights in relation to your data.

We collect and process your personal data including any data you may provide through this website when you register as an employer to submit opportunities on the Wannabe website, or when you sign up to our newsletter.

If you are apply for an opportunity via the Wannabe website you are agreeing to your information being shared with the employer stated in the application. This includes your name, telephone number and email address. If you are not happy to share this information please do not submit the form and contact the employer separately. If you are under the age of 16 please ask your parent to add a line to the cover letter section giving you consent to share your details with the employer. The information you give in the form above will be passed directly to the employer you are applying to. We will also keep a copy of this information for a maximum of 30 days before deleting it permanently from our system.

We also ask all employers to delete and destroy any data held about you within 30 days of receiving it, unless agreed separately between yourself and the employer e.g. if they would like to contact you in future with job opportunities.

Businesses – You may give us information by completing forms on our site to sign up as an approved company and to post vacancies on our site. This information may include your business name, a contact name, telephone numbers, business addresses, email address, insurance information.

General Users

(a) To provide you with further information related to the events you have booked tickets for, and to notify you of future events that may be of interest to you.

(b) To pass on details to the employer you are applying to, so that they can review your application and contact you regarding the application process.

(c) To measure effectiveness and activity on our site so we can continue to improve our site and the offerings made by employers on the site.

NOTE- All information collected for the purpose of application to vacancies on our site will be permanently deleted every 30 days and will be recorded in a non-identifiable form as only a number.

Businesses

(a) To approve your businesses credibility and eligibility to offer a work experience vacancy.

(b) To contact you in future regarding updates to our policy and to request feedback on the service you received when posting on www.WANNABEBucks.org

(c) To forward applications to your vacancies, along with applicant contact details and information for the sole purpose of progressing with the employment of said applicants.

(d) To notify you about events & opportunities that may be of interest to your business.

5. Disclosure of your information

FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT WE DO DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY PERSONAL IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION OF ANY OF OUR REGISTERED USERS TO ANY THIRD PARTIES.
